Referral programme terms

These terms apply when a business refers other businesses to 3rd Unicorn Marketplace (marketplace.3rdunicorn.com), operated by 3RD UNICORN LTD ("we", "us"). You agree to them, on behalf of your business, when you tick "I agree to the Referral programme terms" on the Refer and earn page. Our Terms of business continue to apply to your own account. 1. Who can take part

• Business customers only. You take part as a business, through your company account on the marketplace.
• A company that has added funds to its balance at least once joins straight away. Any other business applies and waits for our approval; until we approve it, it has no working code.
• Our own internal accounts and suspended accounts can't take part.

2. Your link and code

• When you join you get a link and a short code. A business you refer either opens your link before creating its account, or types your code when it creates its company account.
• One referrer per company. The code a company signed up with is fixed once it first pays us. A company that came to us through one of our partner agencies isn't counted as a referral as well.
• Nobody earns on the referrals of a company they referred: the programme has one level only.

3. What you earn

• You earn 5% of what a company you referred pays us, for 12 months from its first payment (its first top-up or its first paid agency invoice).
• On the marketplace, that's 5% of each amount the company adds to its balance. It doesn't include the platform fee, the payment-method fee or any bonus credit.
• On agency services we invoice to that company, it's 5% of the invoice amount, not including any payment-method fee.
• The rate that applies is the one in force when the payment is made. Earnings added to your balance never count as a top-up and earn nothing further.
• Referred companies don't get a separate welcome gift; the usual deposit bonus applies to everyone.

4. When you can use it

• Each earning is held for 30 days from the payment, then it becomes payable.
• Add to balance (the default): any amount, no minimum. It becomes normal balance that pays for any listing. It never expires, and once added it can't be withdrawn.
• Request a payout: once at least $50 is payable, to your payout method (bank transfer through Wise, PayPal, USDT on TRC-20 or ERC-20, or Payoneer). Requests made by the end of a month are paid by the 10th of the next month.
• Payouts go only to an account in your own name or your company's name. You're responsible for your own taxes on what you earn.

5. Refunds and reversals

• If a payment you earned on is refunded, reversed or charged back, its earning is cancelled while it is still held or payable.
• If you've already added it to your balance or been paid it, the same amount comes off your later earnings. It's never taken from your balance and never becomes a debt.

6. What isn't allowed

• Referring yourself or your own companies. We don't pay on a company that is yours, shares a person with your company, has the same billing email, or has people on the same company email domain.
• Spam, misleading claims, paid search or social ads on our brand names, and fake or duplicate accounts.
• We may hold an earning for review, or cancel it, when we suspect fraud or a breach of these terms. We always tell you the reason. While your company account is suspended, your earnings don't become payable.

7. Privacy

A company you refer is told, when it signs up, that you will see its company name, when it joined and the 5% you earn from its payments. That is all you see: never what it buys. We never show your name to the companies you refer, on public pages or on anyone else's documents.

8. Changes and law

We give at least 15 days' notice of changes to these terms by email and on this page. Earnings already confirmed keep the terms they were earned under. We may end the programme with the same notice; earnings already confirmed are still paid. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
